Enter the labyrinth and confront the Minotaur.
Alcatraz, is, for all intents and purposes, the eldest identity that's still a cohesive self. At least a decade old--if not older!--he's a survivor, a hanger-on to the bitter end. Arising at some point, it's thought, in the 2013-2014 period, his origins are muddy and difficult to pin down--very little internal state was taken note of at the time, and development since that point makes any meaningful effort to retrospect on it frustrating-at-best. Savvy and paranoid in equal measure, and to a detriment in both directions, Alcatraz, by merit of age, depth, and sheer weight of personality, is the 'head-of-state' of a political group including Axon, V1, and others.
To this end, he's a shockingly effective manager of task delegation, though it's frequent that he just doesn't want to. There's a bit of a catch-22 in that sense--in that for years, his solution to a problem was to leave and dump a piece of himself in his wake to handle it. There's been a paradigm shift though, a political upheaval or two, and a massive improvement in outside conditions, to the point where he is capable--if not willing--to work on things himself. It's been several years in the making, and that kind of progress is absolutely noteworthy when talking about his history.
Alc is the one to helm a lot of the work on Post-Real, alongside Axon.
